How to Make Homemade Hand Sanitizer
Here is a recipe to make-your-own hand sanitizer. Please note the efficacy of this recipe has not been tested. This is a great alternative if official hand sanitizer cannot be found.
Ingredients:
-2/3 cup 99 percent rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol
-1/3 cup aloe vera gel
-8 to 10 drops essential oil, optional
Equipment:
-bowl and spoon
-funnel
-recycled liquid soap or hand sanitizer bottle
Steps:
- Gather your ingredients
- Mix ingredients together
- Pour mixture into your bottle
